Op basis van de beproefde D703 en in combinatie met de automatische plaat-draai-inrichting, is dubbelzijdig afdrukken van bijvoorbeeld fotoboeken en kalenders nu nog eenvoudiger en handiger. In tegenstelling tot de D703 kan de operator van een QSS Green Pro fotoproducten produceren met de standaardresolutie van 720X720dpi of met een hogere resolutie van 1440X1440 dpi. Om uitstekende panoramafoto's in het formaat 254 x 1757 mm af te drukken is een maximale printlengte van het nieuwe apparaat uitgebreid tot een indrukwekkende 1,775 meter. De QSS Green Pro scoort ook met zijn variabele aanzuigplaat. Deze plaat zorgt voor een exacte vlakheid van het papier tijdens het afdrukken en zorgt automatisch voor de optimale afstand tot de twee printkoppen. Hierdoor kan dikker papier worden gebruikt, zoals dat voor wenskaarten de voorkeur heeft. Met de QSS Green Pro kan de processor niet alleen JPEG bestanden verwerken maar ook TIFF, PNG, RAW en DNG bestanden, die de voorkeur hebben bij de professionals en ambitieuze amateurfotografen.

The customer magnet

Based on the tried-and-tested D703 and combined with automatic sheet-turning device D502, duplex printing of sheets, for instance for photo books and calendars, is now even easier and more convenient. In contrast to the D703, which is still available, the operator of a QSS Green can produce image products either at the standard resolution of 720 x 720 dpi or at a higher resolution of 1440 x 1440 dpi. To print outstanding panorama images in the format 254 x 1757 mm, the maximum step length of the new device has been expanded to a very impressive 1.757 metres. The QSS Green also scores with its variable suction plate. It ensures exact flatness of the paper when printing, and automatically maintains the optimum distance to the two print heads. This allows thicker paper to be used, such as that preferred for greeting cards. With the QSS Green, the self-processor can process not only JPEG image data, but also RAW image data preferred by professionals and ambitious amateur photographers.
